Orlando C. "Oz" Campbell, 88, a resident of The Arbors in Marietta and formerly of Parkersburg, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at The Arbors.Oz was born in Pleasants County, a son of the late Robert H. and Ora Childers Campbell. He was a graduate of West Virginia University and member of First Lutheran Church, Parkersburg.Oz was a sales representative providing laboratory equipment for a pharmaceutical company.He will be remembered for his Parkersburg News and Sentinel column, "Monday Morning Quarterback". Oz is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Angela Smith (Steve) of Vienna, Robert Campbell of Parkersburg and Wiley Hicks (Carol) of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Irene Deem Campbell in 2011, one sister, one brother, one half sister and one half brother. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church, 1701 19th Street, Parkersburg with Pastor Neil Cadle assisted by Barbara McDowell officiating.Friends will be received at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, and at the church one hour prior to services on Wednesday.Services will conclude with interment in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the First Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
