Jennifer "Jenny" Sue Sook

Jennifer “Jenny” S. Sook, 66, of Parkersburg passed away February 25, 2020 at Carehaven of Pleasants County. She was born March 3, 1953 in Oberlin, OH, she is the daughter of the late Frederick and Norma Stewart Cottrill. She was a Parkersburg South High School graduate and worked at Outsource Services as a custodial supervisor. Jenny loved reading, laughing, cooking, traveling and some would say she was the “Ellie Mae Clampett” of animals. Jenny was a loving mother and an amazing wife; she was caring and giving person whose heart was made of gold. Left behind to cherish her memory, his her loving husband of 34 years Joseph “Joe” Sook; daughter, Jeannette Sook of Parkersburg; siblings, Sam Yoho of Parkersburg and Cindy Nutter of St. Mary’s, WV. A memorial service will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Kimes Funeral Home 521 5th St. Parkersburg, WV with Chaplain Dan Carpenter. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of the service Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be sent to the American Heart Association on behalf of Jenny.
