James Michael Lyons, 30 of Spring Street, Parkersburg passed April 23, 2016 of a tragic accident in downtown Parkersburg. He was also known as Little Michael or Mike. He was adored by many and always brought so much life to a room by filling every corner with laughter. He may have been “Little Michael” but his personality was not! He is survived by his two Sons; Austin Michael age 9 and John Michael 9 months. His mom Della Lyons, two sisters; Wilma Lyons (Joey) and Christina McCune (Donnie) and two brothers; Paul (Kayla) and Raymond Lyons.His girlfriend Alisha Lattea, John’s mother and her sons, James and Jacob and Austin’s mother, Haley Tyler. Several wonderful nieces and nephews, Keirsten, Lindsey, Raymond, Susanna, Raelynn, Donavon, Jacob, Mackenzie, Dakota, Caden, Mikey, Logan, Madison and Tyler.Special little girl, Alena. His favorite dog, Daisy May. He loved the outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing. He leaves behind many whom adored him dearly.He was adventurous, outgoing and comical. He enjoyed wrestling wholeheartedly from an early age, he placed in several competitions. His most personal pleasure was to help children get items they wanted and helping all others with whatever they may need. He was a 2004 graduate of Parkersburg High School and the Wood County Technical Center specializing in welding. He attended West Virginia University of Parkersburg. His last employment was Captain Ds and had worked for Dailey Transfer Moving Company which he found pleasure in helping others. Preceded in death by his father; Charles Michael Lyons Sr. and an older brother Charles Michael Lyons Jr. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 5-7 at Kimes Funeral Home 521 5th St Parkersburg, Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Guinn Officiating, and burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.A Gathering will be held after the service at the Jackson Community Building in Vienna.Online condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.kimesfuneralhome.com
