William C. "Bill" Phillips, 71, of Parkersburg, passed away at home on Thursday, April 18th, 2024. Bill was born on February 14, 1953 in Fairbanks, Alaska, the only son of the late William and Inis (West) Phillips.
After graduating from the Parkersburg South High School Class of 1971, Bill received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Glenville State College. He then honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1975-1979.
Bill spent most of his career working for the Bureau of Fiscal Services. He will be remembered for being a sports car enthusiast. He was also a Jehovah's Witness by faith.
Bill is survived by two cousins, John (Fonda) Harris and Charles (Angelina) Hamilton, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at the Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m. with public visitation being held two hours before the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg.
