William H. "Bill" Wilson

William H. "Bill" Wilson, 63, of Clemmons, NC and formerly of Parkersburg WV, passed away peacefully Monday July 7, 2014.He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Charles C. and June Howell Wilson. Bill was a 1969 graduate of Parkersburg High School. As an inventor, entrepreneur and leader in the floor care industry; Bill founded Pioneer Floor Care with his father in 1978 and went on to develop Pioneer Eclipse Corporation, a thriving Inc 500 company, in 1981. He had recently founded EcoShine Concrete Polishing Company with his brother Randy. As a dedicated philanthropist and humanitarian who served his community, he was awarded NC Small Businessman of the Year. He was the owner of Glencoe Highland Farms and had a great love for family, travel and adventure. Survivors include his life partner Gwen Anne Macdonald; his daughter, Angela M. Wilson with her husband, Alexander Tuttle of Stokesdale, NC; his son, Trevor B. Wilson of Winston Salem, NC; his sister, Loretta S. Wilson of Parkersburg; his three brothers, Joseph M. Wilson of Huntington, WV, Charles P. "Pat" Wilson of Greensboro, NC, Randolph S. "Randy" Wilson of Clemmons, NC; and the mother of his children, Linda Triplett Davidson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg. William's daughter Angela and his brother Randy will preside over the service.Burial will follow in the Deem/Wilson Cemetery at Eatons, WV. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Saturday. A celebration of life for William will be held 4:00 p.m. at JP Henry's in Parkersburg on Saturday.
