William Dale Cobb

William Dale Cobb, Sr., 86, formerly of Wadesville, WV passed away at the Arbors at Marietta on January 25, 2017.He was born November 25, 1930 in Wood County to the late Oscar Jefferson and Edith May Wright Cobb.He was a member of the Serepta Baptist Church and was a Hydroblaster for C. H. Heist Company and was a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict.He was also a Deputy Sheriff in Manatee County, Florida. He is survived by two sons, William D. Cobb, Jr. of Parkersburg and Robert (Brenda) Cobb of St. Petersburg, FL, seven grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren, one brother, Lewis Cobb and one sister, Carol Ann Cobb, both of St. Petersburg, FL. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Lucille Jean Cobb and one brother, Robert Earl Cobb. Friends and Family are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Wadesville Cemetery with Pastor Frank Miller officiating.
