William "Bill" Low Swisher

William “Bill” Low Swisher, Sr., 93, of Pennsboro, WV passed away November 25, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center.He was born January 19, 1925 in Doddridge County, WV to the late melburn Eugene and Lulu Desel Davis Swisher.He was a truck driver for 35 years for Roadway Express and a U. S. Navy Veteran.He was a member of the V. F. W. Post 3408 and the American Legion Post 25 of West Union, WV.He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Thelma Iris Swisher, two sons, William (Barbara) Swisher, Jr. of Jackson, Georgia and Melbourne Lee (Debra) Swisher of Crystal River, Florida, two daughters, Carolyn (Ben) Wheeler and Diane (Jim) Vance both of Conyers, Georgia, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren,two sisters, Lyndell (Mansfield) Leeson of Grove, WV and Aris (Larry) Cougar of Freeport, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Edsel Swisher.
