Wiliam "Gail" Butcher

William "Gail" Butcher, 73, of Mineral Wells, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg. He was born March 6, 1942, at Braxton County, W.Va., a son of the late Pierson Butcher and Virginia Simmons Butcher. He had been employed by Storck Baking Co., was a U.S. Army Veteran and enjoyed reading and his rocking chair. Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Patty" Hoover Butcher; a daughter, Angela (Luke Williamson) Butcher, of Coolville, Ohio, a son, Douglas (Crystal) Butcher, of Mineral Wells; two brothers, Donnie (Kathy) Butcher, of Cumming, Ga., and Pierson "Butch" Butcher of Ohio; two sisters, Patricia "Patsy" (Dwaine) Shaver of Newark, Del., and Nancy Fowler of Gassaway, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Willow and Silas Butcher. Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Flatwoods Cemetery, Braxton County, W.Va., with the Pastor Linn Schiefer officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St. Parkersburg, WV.
