Wilbur Sterling Deems

Wilbur S. Deems, 85, of Parkersburg passed away February 15, 2020 at Worthington Healthcare Center. He is now having a reunion with his daughter Pam Deems Nichols. He was born December 23, 1934 in Wood County, WV and is the son of the late Jerry Deems and Hester Deems Lucas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an amazing artist. Left behind to cherish his memory, is his wife of 64 years, Ruth Ann Wilson Deems; his children, Mark and Kelley Deems both of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Jared and Mikala Nichols and Lori Fluharty; three great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Nichols in 2012; and several brothers and sisters. At Wilbur’s requests there will be no services at this time.
