Walter Lee Wigal

Walter Lee Wigal, 87, of Parkersburg passed away at Camden Clark Medical Center on February 8, 2017.He was born June 10, 1929 in Wood County to the late Floyd and Ida Pearl Sellers Wigal.He was a member of the 36th Street church of Christ and was an Electrician with Monongahela Power Company.He was a U. S. Army Veteran during the Korean conflict. He is survived by a son, Scotty (Linda) Wigal of Parkersburg and a daughter, Trula (Don) Wilson of Parkersburg, seven grandchildren, Brian, Heather, Shawn, Erik, Aaron, Sara and Matt and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wigal, five sisters and five brothers. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Evangelist Mark Mason officiating.Burial will follow at Wigal Cemetery.Visitation will be on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
