Violet Marie Persell

Violet Marie Persell, 61, of Parkersburg passed away May 4, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born November 10, 1957 in Parkersburg to the late Carl W. and Charlotte E. Steed Brookover.She had worked at Teknetix and Nolan Services and was a member of Jefferson Baptist Temple. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Cecil “Bud” Persell, four brothers, Michael Wade (Peggy) Brookover, William (Maya) Brookover, Robert (Lisa) Brookover and Gary Brookover all of Parkersburg, six sisters, Mary Helen (Jim) Fetty of Rockport, Sharon (Howard) Peck of Parkersburg, Bethel Peck of Walker, Mildred Queen of Greenville, South Carolina, Carol (William) Keffer of Mineral Wells, and Sandra Henthorn of Parkersburg, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Ronnie Hendershot officiating.Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time.Cremation will follow.
