Vendetta Ilene Foster

Vendetta Ilene Foster, 91, of Parkersburg passed away March 22, 2019 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home.She was born March 15, 1928 in Parkersburg to the late Almon Erwin and Erma Channel Thorn.She was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church and was a Homemaker.She loved cooking, long conversations and talking on the CB Radio and her handle was Big I. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Stephen (Vilma) Foster and Lee Jay ( Teresa) Foster of Parkersburg, three daughters, Erma Jo (Barry) Gill of Parkersburg, Becky (Michael) Dicks of Walker, WV and Ronda (Mark) Plaugher of Pataskala, Ohio, five grandchildren, Daniel and Sara Dicks, Whitney Ingold, Tyler and Tanner Plaugher, three step-great grandchildren, Jennifer Holmes, Billy and Heather Crothers,five great-great grandchildren, Chloe, Avi, Bailey and Emma Dicks and Emily Ingold and six step-great-great grandchildren, Brian Francis, Kylie Miller,Christin Crothers, Adam and Gracie Hatcher and Morgan Metcalf. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, “R. J.” Ronald Jack Foster, four brothers and two sisters. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Reverend Mark Plaugher officiating.Visitation will be on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday from Noon until 1 p.m. Online condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.kimesfuneralhome.com
