Thelma Lucretia Eddy, 90, of Parkersburg, passed away peacefully November 23, 2016, under the care of Hospice and surrounded by her family. She was born January 9, 1926 in Paden City, W.Va. to the late Ira O. and Vena B. Eddy Tuttle. She was a member of Rosemar Road church of Christ and retired from St. Joseph's Hospital and also retired from Wal-Mart in March 2015. She was a lifetime member of the Stepping Stones of O.V.U. enjoyed Bible study, her family and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Cindy Whitehead) Eddy of Mineral Wells and Mark (Janice) Eddy of Charlestown, Ind.; one daughter, Martha (Michael) Tucker of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren, Rachel (Chris) Jenks, Amy Eddy, Kristopher (Chelsey) Eddy, Jonathan Eddy, Bethany (Bill) Cornecelli, Briana Tucker, Kolton Eddy, Jacksen Eddy and Savannah Whitehead, six great-grandchildren, Hayden and Carson Jenks, Cedric Allander, Avery and Greyson Cornecelli and Karsen Eddy. Also surviving is her sister, Louise Wright of Weirton, W.Va.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Robert K. (Jack) Eddy; and brother, Ira Eugene "Gene" Tuttle. Memorial Donations can be directed to Love-N-Care Personal Care home, 5368 DuPont Road, Parkersburg, W.Va. 26101. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Evangelist Dr. Charles Aebi officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.
