Sue Ann Cooper Anderson

Sue Ann Cooper Anderson, 79, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away, August 7, 2016 in Lynchburg, Virginia.Sue Ann was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Howard H. and Sylvia Virtue Burton Allen. She was a 1955 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a member of North Parkersburg Baptist Church.Sue Ann retired from the Wood County Sheriff's Office after twenty years of service. Survivors include one son, Patrick A. Cooper (Marsha) of Lynchburg, VA; one sister, Kay Bowser (Joe) of Parkersburg; one grandson, Bradley Cooper; and former husband, Floyd Anderson of Parkersburg. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Darrell Edwin Cooper in 1980; one son, Mark Edwin Cooper in 2006; and one sister, Jean Tracey. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 11, 2106 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating.Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Humane Society of Parkersburg.
