Steven Ceward Delancey

Steven Ceward DeLancey, 49, previously of Pennsboro and Clarksville, Tenn., passed away Sept. 16, 2015, at Kobacher House Hospice, Columbus Ohio. He was born Sept. 27, 1965, at Parkersburg, a son of the late Oliver Ceward DeLancey and Joann Adams. Steve was a member of the church of Christ and graduated from the Pennsboro High School in 1985. He had been employed at Austin Peay University in the maintenance department. He was also a member of the NRA. Survivors include his stepmother, Phyliss DeLancey; one son, Casey DeLancey of Clarksville, Tenn.; one daughter, Amber DeLancey of Morganton, N.C.; a sister, Debra Ann Dwight of N.Y.; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jasmine DeLancey; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Julie "JuJu" Gould. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Kimes Funeral Home, 5215th St., Parkersburg. Along with his father, inurnment will be at the convenience of the family at Fairmont Ridge Cemetery, Ellenboro, W.Va
