Steven Ceward DeLancey, 49, previously of Pennsboro and Clarksville, Tenn., passed away Sept. 16, 2015, at Kobacher House Hospice, Columbus Ohio. He was born Sept. 27, 1965, at Parkersburg, a son of the late Oliver Ceward DeLancey and Joann Adams. Steve was a member of the church of Christ and graduated from the Pennsboro High School in 1985. He had been employed at Austin Peay University in the maintenance department. He was also a member of the NRA. Survivors include his stepmother, Phyliss DeLancey; one son, Casey DeLancey of Clarksville, Tenn.; one daughter, Amber DeLancey of Morganton, N.C.; a sister, Debra Ann Dwight of N.Y.; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jasmine DeLancey; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Julie "JuJu" Gould. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Kimes Funeral Home, 5215th St., Parkersburg.
