"He Savored Each Step Between Eternities" Stephen M. Creasey, 67, of Vienna, WV passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center.Steve was born at the Bowling Green Air Force Base in Washington, D.C., October 13, 1951, a son of the late Melvin M. Creasey and Betty Jo Crimmel Creasey. Steve was a writer, inventor, musician and executive chef.He was a member of the American Culinary Federation and was referred to as "The Blues Chef".He was a proud 1969 graduate of PHS and attended WVUP. Steve is survived by two daughters, Rose E. Creasey and husband Philip Smith of Parkersburg and Jesse M. Hyde and husband Sam of Walker; one brother, Michael D. Creasey of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Rachael, Abigail, and Jonah Smith, Lydia, Shelby and Grace Hyde; a great grandson, Martin Weekley. Steve chose to be cremated by advance planning his arrangements. He requested those in attendance for his memorial service be welcomed to speak and share a memory.For a love of animals, he requested memorial remembrances be made to the Humane Society or ASPCA.Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home. A service to celebrate Steve's life will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5th at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg, WV. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
