Sonja Mae Giberson

Sonja Mae Giberson, 76, of Parkersburg, passed away in the presence of her family on May 22, 2019.Mrs. Giberson was born at Manheim, PA October 17, 1942. She was a housekeeper and enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She is survived by two daughters, Connie F. Brooks (Kerry) of Owensboro, KY and Karen L. Giberson (Craig) of Bridgeport, WV; one son, Frank D. Giberson (Lisa) of Parkersburg; one brother, Rodney Schaeffer (Maddy) in Arizona; five grandchildren, Brence Brooks, Drew Brooks, Cody Dillon, Brandi Dillon and Kayla McCarthy; six great grandchildren, Autumn, Brendan, Cameron, Kaleb, Lucas and Kolton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Giberson Sr.; mother, Mae Schaeffer; father, Norman S. Keller; one son, Scott Myers; and one daughter, Debbie Giberson. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 25that the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating.Interment will follow in the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
