Shirley Jane Stotts-Cottle, 72, of Cairo, W.Va. went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, Miles Cottle, on Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was born September 4, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of of the late Willis Harmon Stotts and Charlotte Jane Murphy Jett. Shirley enjoyed sewing, quilting and coloring and being with her family.She had attended Prayer Chapel Church. Those left behind to cherish her memories include her children, Drinda Richards (James) of Cairo, Mike Jett (Robin) of Taylorsville, NC, Mina Baker (Rollin) of Charleston, WV, Theolora Goff of Parkersburg, Ted Jett of Parkersburg and Michael Cottle of Titusville, FL; twenty-two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Treadway of Coolville, OH; and a brother, David Stotts (Mindy) of Clearwater, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Miles Cottle; a sister, Susan West; a grandson, Patrick Johnson; and a great-grandson, Payten Cole Baker. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Vaughan-Kimes Funeral Home, 521 – 5th Street, Parkersburg.Minister Michael Kidd will officiate and burial will follow at Pleasant Home Cemetery, Belleville, WV.The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
