Sherry Ilene Mace

Sherry Ilene Mace, 88, of Parkersburg went home to be with the Lord June 28, 2020 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Abbey Smith Lemley. Sherry was Pentecostal by faith and had taught computer operations at Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Council for 14 years. She enjoyed dancing, painting, playing guitar, singing, reading and writing poetry. Left behind to cherish her memory, is her husband, Michael Mace; daughters, Patricia Tennant (Kevin Busch) and Pamela Ritchie (Donald); one son, Kevin Mace (Amber); sisters, Lura Emerick and Judy Neisius (Leon); grandchildren, Shanna Sheppard (Vincent), Donald Ritchie Jr. and Angela Stalnaker (Richard), Cora, Charis, Elias, Calista Mace; great grandchildren, Isaac, Ella and Emma; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sondra Mills. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Kimes Funeral Home 521 5th St. Parkersburg, WV 26101 with Pastor Jamie Sprague officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
