Sherron Q. Barnett

Sherron Q. Barnett, 74, of Davisville, WV passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 28,  2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center.

Sherron was born September 14, 1949, in Wayne County, WV, the daughter of the late Otis and Ruby (Ramsey) Queen.

Sherron enjoyed spending her time following and supporting the extracurricular activities of beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed aqua pool activities, reading, and watching television.

In addition to her parents, Sherron was preceded in death by one brother, Francis “Frank” Queen; and one sister, Phyllis Bennett.

Sherron is survived by one son, Keith “Bo” R. Barnett II (Cristy), of Davisville, WV; and one daughter, Kimberly Renee Barnett Cox, of Melbourne, FL; eight grandchildren, Cameron Cox, Collin Cox, Kaylee Cox, Alec Barnett, Braden Barnett, McKenzie Barnett, Briana Shank (Daniel), Hannah Riggs (Timmy); two great-grandchildren, Owen and Oliver Shank; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2024 at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home, with Reverend Chad Mugrage officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Friday.
