Sandra Sue Stewart

Sandra Sue Stewart, age 70, passed away at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio with her best friend by her side, Cheryl Kimes, on August 11, 2019.Sandy, as she was known, was born June 11, 1949 in Mason, West Virginia to the Late Paul and Lucille (Russell) Stewart, West Columbia, West Virginia.Sandy was a 1967 graduate of Wahama High School, Mason, WV and a very proud 1971 graduate of Marshall University, Huntington, WV with a major in accounting.She lived in Parkersburg, West Virginia after graduating from Marshall where she met her best friend, Cheryl and come to consider Cheryl, Cheryl's daughter, Lacrisha and Grandchildren, Chloee; Zayden; & Ryder as well as Cheryl's son Cody as her adopted family.Additionally, her cousins, Harriet Walsh-Dorado, Delray Beach, Florida, Diane Noble-Hoffman, Letart, WV; Nancy Powell, New Haven, WV and friend, Bonnie Roush-Williams, Columbus, Ohio will miss her dearly as well as everyone that knew Sandy. Sandy also had a beloved pet, Reese, that she loved dearly. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone!Kimes Funeral Home, 521-5th St., Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101, is handling the arrangements where Sandra will be cremated.There is not going to be any visitation or Celebration of Life per Sandra's last wishes.Just keep her in your thoughts and remember what a fun loving person she was.
