Ruth E. Nelson

Ruth Eleanor Smith Nelson, 88, of Washington, WV passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Ohio Valley Healthcare in Parkersburg, WV. She was born March 24, 1933 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late John and Beatrice Meredith Smith. Ruth was employed at the former Nashua Photo in photographic processing. She enjoyed reading and spending time at her lake. She is survived by her son, Herbert J. Nelson (Lisa) of Parkersburg and several grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest C. Nelson, Jr.; one son, John F. Nelson; one sister, Rita Baxter; and one brother, William Smith.
