Ronald David Hoyt

Ronald David Hoyt, 77, of Parkersburg passed away February 28, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born April 9, 1940 in Wood County, WV to the late Catherine Louise Hoyt.He was a Manager for Mountain State Air Gas and was a U. S. Air Force Veteran.He was a member of the Masonic Shrine, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed golfing and bowling. He is survived by five sons, Steven (Rachle) Hoyt, David Hoyt and Daniel Hoyt all of Parkersburg and Tony (Martha) Hoyt and Rodney (Janet) Hoyt both of Ohio and one daughter, Teresa (Jeff) Archer of Jackson County, WV, twenty-one grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda D. Crawford Hoyt, one brother, Charlie Hoyt and two daughters, Kimberly Hoyt and Vickey Hoyt. There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Doug Guinn officiating.There will also be a Gathering of Friends and Family from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the Memorial Service.
