Roger Dow Lipscomb

Roger D. Lipscomb, 72, of St. Mary’s, WV passed away April 16, 2019 at his residence.He was born October 28, 1946 in Wood County, WV to the late Shirley and Frances Lipscomb.He had worked at Coca-Cola and R. C. Cola in Route Sales and also bought and sold antiques.He was a proud U. S. Marine serving in the Viet-Nam Era and earned a Silver Star. Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Robert (Sena) Lipscomb of St. Mary’s, WV and Richard (Heather) Lipscomb of Washington, WV, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, three sisters, Betty Wright, Jonnie Ferrebee and Mary Hodges all of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lipscomb, one daughter, Angela Morrison, one brother, Butch and sister, Linda. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg.There will be no visitation or funeral service.
