Robert Gail Mckinney

Robert Gail McKinney, 81, of Wingett Run, Ohio passed away November 7, 2015 at the Arbors of Marietta. He was born August 24, 1934 a son of the late Avery and Daisy Dearth McKinney.He was a truck driver for the Mayflower Trucking Co.He was a Medic in the U. S. Air Force during the KoreanWar. He is survived by his son, James Robert McKinney of Clarksburg, WV, seven daughters, Tina (Mike) Deem of Crossville, Tennessee, Terri Starcher and her fiancee’ (Tim Southern) of Washington, WV, Linda (Shawn) Moore of Belpre, Ohio, Crystal (Scott) O’Grady of Wingett Run, Ohio, Christina (Leon) Geipe of Parkersburg, WV, Darlene Paugh of Boaz, WV and Sharon Williams of Belpre, Ohio.He is also survived by his brother, William (Donna) McKinney of West Virginia and two sisters, Shirley (Darris) Smith of Vincent, Ohio and Lorraine (Graydon) Lambert of St. Marys, WV, eighteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Cottrill McKinney, a daughter, Janice McKinney, two sisters, Janet Fluharty and Lou Peeler, one grandson, Ian Batton and a great grandson Tyrek Starcher. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, WV with burial to follow at Newport Cemetery, Newport, Ohio.Visitation will be on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
