Robert Lee Hopkins

Robert Lee Hopkins, 73, of Jacksonville, FL (formally of Mineral Wells, WV), passed away peacefully at his home on November 24, 2024.

He was born on July 5, 1951, in Parkersburg, WV to Roy and Lena Hopkins.  He graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1970 and continued his studies at Fairmont State University.

He worked for 19 years at the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Parkersburg and then as a car salesman for multiple area dealerships.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, his 8 grandchildren and his friends.  He loved to fish, play golf, play poker with his buddies and was known to sing a karaoke tune from time to time.  He loved to watch sports, especially the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Florida Gators, with his best friend, Joyce Donaldson.

He is survived by his sister, Kathy (Ken) Annable of Richwood, OH; son, Chris (Susan) of Jacksonville, FL; and son, Ryan (Lauren) of Springboro, OH.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Felicia (Spencer) Hopkins; father, Roy Gilbert Hopkins; and mother, Lena Bell (Harris) Hopkins.

A private service for Bob will be held in Jacksonville, FL.
