Ralph L. Robinson

Ralph L. Robinson, 85, of Vienna, went to join his sweetheart February 26, 2017 in Heaven.He was born March 17, 1931 to Ernest and Thelma Robinson of Waverly, WV.He retired from the Wood County Board of Education in 1989 after 30 years of service working in the Maintenance Department/Driving Bus in his early years of employment.He was a delivery driver for Dudley’s Florist from 1991-2010. Survivors include three daughters, Kim (Greg) Stephens of Vienna, Donna (Randy) Goff of Washington, and Sonya Mitchell of Parkersburg; one son, Kenny (Lynn) Robinson of Waverly; ten grandchildren: twenty-one great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Stephens (Charlie) of Parkersburg and Patty Parsons (Jimmy) of Williamstown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Lucille Robinson; two sons, Mike Robinson and Robert Phares, Jr.; and an infant brother; and his furry friend, Sassy. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday March 2, 2017 at 11 am at Kimes Funeral Home, 521-5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Brady Stephens and Pastor Neil Parsons officiating.Burial will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.Visitation will be on Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
