Phyllis Y Dowler

Phyllis Yvonne Dowler, 85, of Coolville, Ohio passed away February 17, 2020 at Camden ClarkMedical Center.She was born May 15, 1934 in Wood County to the late James Bernard and Cora Wilma Dye Oiler.She worked at Brockway Glassand later at the Colonial House for several years.She was also a member of the Gospel Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Dowler of Wood County, WV and Marcus R. (Kathy) Dowler of Coolville, Ohio, grandchildren, Christina, Angelina, Tim, Deidra, Kassi, Heather, and Jennifer and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Dowler, a son, Matthew W. Dowler, infant daughter, Jennifer and a sister, Sharon Lee Oiler. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating.Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery.Visitation will be on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 5pm to 7pm.
