Peggy Ann Miller

Peggy Ann Wright Miller, 83, of Vienna, WV passed away at her home on January 23, 2016. She was born on March 4, 1932 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late William Thomas and Goldie Mae Spencer Caplinger. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was retired from Sears after 50 years of service as a Clerk and Sales Associate.She enjoyed wildlife, sewing, was an avid gardener, and homemaker. She is survived by one son, James Wright of Vienna, one daughter, Joyce Ann (Dan) Patterson of Parkersburg, and two step sons, Steven Carroll (Karen) Miller of Warsaw, Indiana and Reverend Larry Edwin (Bonnie) Miller of Parkersburg, 5 grandchildren, Holly Daugherty, Stuart Patterson, Jimmy Wright, Jessica Archer, and Joel Wright, and 4 great grandchildren.Also surviving is one brother, James Caplinger, and two sisters, Polly Knowlson of Charleston, South Carolina and Judy Cain of Parkersburg. She is preceded in death by her first husband, James Wright, and her second husband, Edwin Eugene Miller, one brother, William "Bill" Caplinger and one sister, Helen Merrill. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Dr. Todd Hill officiating.Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery.Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday before services from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
