Pearl L. Arthurs

Pearl L. Arthurs, 80, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at her residence. Pearl was born November 28, 1939 at Watertown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Vera Rarick Vanway and Purl D. Pryor. She was retired from the Bureau of Public Debt and was an avid reader.She was a member of Jefferson Baptist Temple and the Order of Eastern Star. Pearl is survived by two daughters, Vicky M. Nichols (Toney) and Lisa D. Wilson, both of Parkersburg; one son, Ernest Grady (Becky) of Parkersburg; one sister, Jane Anderson (Randy) of Tennessee; one brother, William Pryor (Rose) of Marietta, Ohio; three grandchildren, Amanda Ross, Casey Nichols and Corey Wilson; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine Foggin and her second mother, Shelda Pryor. Funeral Services will be 2 P.M., Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg. The family will receive friends from Noon until the service time Saturday at the funeral Home.
