Paul K. Taylor

Paul Kenton Taylor, 61, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Parkersburg on December 3, 1953, a son of the late Donald and deSales "Perky" Taylor. Paul was a 1971 graduate of Parkersburg High School, loved animals and had attended the first U.M. Church, Parkersburg. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Jane Gordon and her husband, Justin, of Westerville, Ohio; grandchildren, Nathan and Ryan Gordon; one sister, Susan L. Taylor of Parkersburg; niece and nephew, Rose Creasey and husband, Philip Smith, and Thomas Deegan (Jessica Corbin); and great nieces and nephews, Rachael, Abigail, and Jonah Smith and Conner Deegan. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his twin brother, Thomas Neil Taylor. A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg with Reverend Sandy Runnion officiating.The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.Paul's cremated remains will be buried in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at the convenience of the family. For those considering an expression of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society of Parkersburg are suggested.
