Olonee "Snooks" Harpold

Olonee Snooks Harpold, 93 of Belpre, Ohio passed away at her home on March 6, 2016. She was born September 3, 1922 in Calhoun County, WV a daughter of the late French C. and Hetta F. Starcher Eismon. She was a member of the River Hill U. M. Church and was a Day Care Worker.She was a member of the South Parkersburg Women's Club, was an excellent cook, loved fishing, traveling and working crossword puzzles. She is survived by two sons, James " Jim" (Carrie) Harpold of Lowell, Ohio and Erman Clair (Jane) Harpold, Jr. of Parkersburg, two daughters, Deloris J. (Bob) Flinn of Belpre, Ohio and Lora Lee Hardman of Lake Washington, WV, one sister, Nell "Tiny" Boso of Lubeck, WV, 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband, Erman Clair Harpold, a brother Carleton Eismon,two great-grandsons, and two sisters, Ilene Stratton and Pauline Rose. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, WV with Pastor Roger Johnson officiating and burial following at Parsons Cemetery at Gay, WV in Jackson County.Visitation will also be on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from Noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
