Norma Ann Schrider

Norma Ann Schrider, 85, of Marietta, Ohio, and former longtime resident of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at Elison Assisted Living and Memory Care of Marietta.

She was born in Vienna, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Willy and Opal Boso Rawson.

Norma was a 1957 graduate of PHS, after which she continued her education to become a registered nurse, practicing at Camden Clark Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed travel and get-togethers with family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Mark Schrider (Constance Gonzalez) of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Betty Travis; and nephews, Steven Travis and Richard Travis.

Her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Elison Assisted Living for the wonderful care given to Norma while she was a resident with them.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip O. Schrider in 1991, and daughter, Cheryl Ann Kottke in 2011.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen North Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
