Nina Ruth Amos

Nina Ruth Amos, 87, of Belleville passed away February 23, 2020 at the Parkersburg Care Center. She was born September 7, 1932 in Wood County, she is the daughter of the late Chester and Freda Seals Smith. Nina attended Ford Chapel and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was a huge Cincinnati Reds Fan and loved her companion dog Duke. Left behind to cherish her memory, are her children, Ruth Collins (John) of CA, Peggy Smith (Gary), Virgil Amos both of Belleville and Kenny Amos (Gracie) of Rockport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Wilma Life of Parkersburg and sister in law, Helen Smith of Mineral Wells, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Amos; brothers, Earl and Lloyd Smith; sister Mary Moore; and infant great granddaughters Tristian Haus and Madeline Westfall. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Kimes Funeral Home 521 5th St. Parkersburg with Pastor Randy Dornon officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery.
