Murray Thomson

Murray Beaumont Thomson, 89, of Parkersburg passed away March 28, 2017 at Wyngate Senior Living Community.He was born October 22, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Frank Beaumont and Beatrice Marian Murray Thomson.He was a Metalurgical Engineer for Union Carbide and was a US Army Veteran during WWII.He was a member of the Brigade of The American Revolution and belonged to the American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathleen Virginia Thomson, one son, Roderick (Coleen) Thomson of San Jose, CA, two daughters, Murrianna Thomson of Portland, Oregon, and Katrina (Emad) Al-kholaidi of Cary, NC, six grandchildren, Lianne Nichols, Aric Thomson, Akram Al-kholaidi, Abdulwaahid Al-kholaidi, Keegan Thomson and Muetasim Al-kholaidi, two great grandchildren Zach and Bailey Nichols. Friends and family are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen South Cemetery.
