Michael P. Williams

Michael “Mike” Patrick Williams, 72, of Parkersburg, W.Va.passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus. Mr. Williams was born in Wood County, W.Va, a son of the late Denzil and Nettie Irean Sink Williams.He was a member of the Lynn St. Church of Christ, enjoyed fishing and had been employed at the mattress factory. He is survived by three step-daughters, Donna (Rick) Willis, of Walker, W. Va., and Robin Walker and Brenda Richards, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four step-sons, Rick (Virginia) Walker, Donald Walker, Jr., and Marvin W. Walker, all of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Charles E. Walker of Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Denny (Diane) Williams of Florida; eighteen step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death on May 13, 2013 by his wife, Linda Elizabeth Williams; brothers, Cecil, Harold, David and Charles Williams; sister, Sarah Jane; and a step-granddaughter, Tonya Walker. Funeral services will be 1 P.M., Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg.Pastor Jon Lands will officiate and burial will be in the Wolfe Cemetery, Parkersburg.The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Donations are appreciated to help defray unexpected expenses.
