Michael Stephen Allen, 69, passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in his birth place, Parkersburg, WV.He was born May 27, 1947 to Burke Ballard and Mary Newcomb Allen.On February 4, 1978 he married Rosellen Vincent in Parkersburg, WV.Steve enjoyed his side by side, NASCAR, spending time with his loved ones and close friends, and WVU football games.He had a great love for God, family, his country, and the United States Marine Corps.Steve was a member of Mineral Wells church of Christ and was a retired Teamster Local 175.He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rosellen; his three sons, Michael (Katherine) Allen of Aldie, Virginia, Todd (Melissa) Cottrell of Mineral Wells, WV, and Wesley (Amy) Allen of Parkersburg, WV; nine grandchildren, Chris, Daniel, Sophia, Helen, Cody, Amber, Ashton, Jake and Dylan; and two great-grandchildren, Harmony and Serenity; and a brother, William (Judy) Allen of Nashville, Tennessee.He was preceded in death by his parents, Burke and Mary Allen; sisters, June and Louise; and a brother Richard. Donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #32 PO Box 173 Davisville, WV26142 Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Evangelist Larry Wigal officiating.Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4 p. m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
