Michael John Barrett

Michael John Barrett, 55, of Vincent, Ohio passed away April 14, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born July 25, 1961 in Marietta, Ohio to the late John and Bernetta Arnold Barrett.He had a BBA in Finance at Ohio University at Athens, Ohio.He was a Personal Banker with Chase Bank and a Compliance Officer with Peoples Bank and currently the Manager of Kraton Belpre, Federal Credit Union.He was a Catholic by Faith and always supported his children in all of their activities. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Barrett, a son, Dr. Seth Barrett of Shrewsbury, Mass., a daughter, Lindsey Barrett of Worthington, Ohio, one sister, Julia (Dr. Michael Leiblein) of Columbus, Ohio and a sister-in-law, Bobbi Little of North Fort Myers, Fl. Friends and family are invited to attend the service on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Little Hocking, Ohio with Father Gallagher officiating.Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery at Canal Winchester, Ohio.Visitation will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg. Memorial Donations may be made to the Humane Society and the American Cancer Society.
