Michael Joe Barker

Michael “Mike” Joe Barker, 58, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born March 19, 1963 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Robert B. and Ruby L. Hendershot Barker. Mike was a retired laborer.He loved his children, fishing and being with his friends, especially his best friend, Willie. Mike is survived by his children, Michael J. Barker, Jr. (Tara), Shawn M. Barker (Lacrisha), Josh L. Barker (Amanda), K. Harley Barker, Robert W. Wright, Misty N. Wright and Sabrina A. Barker; a brother, Robert M. Barker; former wife and mother of his children, Ruby I. Trembly (Willie); and seventeen grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the Vaughan-Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street, Parkersburg.A graveside service will follow at Shiloh Cemetery with Ron Hendershot officiating.
