Mettie Marie Wigal

Mettie Marie Wigal, 96, of Belleville passed away May 26, 2020 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born in Wood County on September 6, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Ora Small and Samuel Emrick. Mettie attended Sarepta Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, making quilts and spending time with her family. Left behind to cherish her memory, are her children, Curtis Wigal (Jean) of Belleville and Hazel Erwin of Salisburg, NC; eight grandchildren; several greatand great great grandchildren; two brothers, Chester Emrick (Connie) and Reggie Emrick both of Vienna; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in her death by her husband, Lloyd Wigal; a daughter, Faye Brown; three sisters, Virginia Shively, Barbara Reynolds and Nellie Boso; and a brother, Charles Emrick. There will be a private family service due to the current health conditions.
