Matthew Lee Sampson

Matthew Lee Sampson, 42, of Parkersburg passed away unexpectedly at Camden Clark Medical Center on January 25, 2019.He was born January 20, 1977 in Wood County, WV to Roger and Anita Piggott Sampson.He worked in Construction as a Roofer and was baptized at Sunrise church of Christ.He loved playing the guitar, riding dirt bikes and camping. In addition to his parents, left to cherish his memory is his brother, David (Alissa) Welling of Parkersburg, WV, three sisters, Angel (Carl) Dulaney and Ashley Sampson, both of Parkersburg and Wednesday Maul of Michigan and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service is planned for Monday, February 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg.
