Mary Ruth Smith

Mary Ruth Smith, 78, of Vincent, Ohio passed away January 16, 2018 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home.She was born July 20, 1939 in Parkersburg to the late Benjamin and Regina Townsend Bell, Sr.She was a member of the Lubeck church of Christ and worked for the Wood County Board of Education as a Bus Aide.She loved being ahomemaker, cooking and crossword puzzles. She is survived by one daughter, Mary J. Ferguson of Parkersburg and her former husband (James) of Davisville, WV, one sister, Carol (Robert) Johnson of Parkersburg, four grandchildren, Aubrey (Patrick) McMullen of Vincent, Ohio, James (Heather) Ferguson, II of Trinity, Florida, Philip (Megan) Ferguson of Parkersburg, and Cassie (Jason) Barker of Mineral Wells, WV, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Smith, and one brother, Ben Bell, Jr. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, January 20, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with EvangelistDavid Newberry officiating.
