Mary L Simons

Mary Louise Stephens Simons, 83, of Vienna passed away April 15, 2017 at her residence.She was born August 7, 1933 in West Union, WV to the late Harry Albert and Delma Armazenda Griffin Stephens.She was a member of the 36th Street church of Christ and was a homemaker.The two most important things in her life was God and Family.She volunteered many years at Camden Clark Hospital where she was a Teen Team Leader, was active at church and had tremendous respect for our Service Members and was always willing to help others, and loved red birds. She is survived by a son, John Carl (Barbara Jan) Simons, Jr. of Vienna, two daughters, Carla Louise Simons of Williamstown and Della Dawn (Jeff) Poling of Vienna, a brother, Clarence W. “Bub” Stephens of Chandler, Arizona, seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Simons, Sr., a daughter, Robin Wilson, a son, Robert Richard Simons, a granddaughter, Misty Dawn Simons, and two brothers, Frederick Stephens and Robert Stephens. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the 36th Street church of Christ, Vienna, WV, with Evangelist Mark Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mineral Wells, WV.Visitation will be on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. also at the church and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Kimes Funeral Home is assisting the family.
