Roxanna Mills, 75, of Belleville passed away peacefully after an extended illness with her family by her side at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born August 4, 1941 in Belleville to the late Harold Smith and Estella Lucille Carothers Mills.She was employed at Ideal Corrugated Box Company, she had also been employed by the Wood County Board of Education as a cook with 10 years of service, wasa 1960 graduate of P.H.S., a lifetime member of Wadesville church of Christ and attended Hopewell church of Christ, enjoyed cats, cooking and cooking shows. She is survived by one brother, John Thomas (Wanda) Mills of Washington, WV, one sister, Frances Mills Scott of Cavin Fork Road, nieces, Terry L. (Larry) Murphy who was also her caregiver, Kristine Leigh (Dale) Durst, Penny Louise (Kevin) Weekley and Angela Renee (Rich) Rule, her great nieces and nephews, U.S.A.F. Sgt. Jeremy Harold (Miseon) Squires, Retired U.S.A.F. Sgt. Catherine Estelle (U.S.A.F. Sgt. Cory) Farrell, Lauren Taylor Durst, Tyler Dale Durst, Tanner Lee Durst, Emily Weekley, Ryan J. Weekley, Taylor Mae Rule and Summer Faith Rule. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, George K. Scott. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Randy Baker officiating.Burial will follow at Wadesville Cemetery.Visitation will also be on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
