Mark Buskirk

Mark Buskirk, 70, of Washington, WV, passed on to the Lord Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, with his loving and heartbroken family at his side.

He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Dale and Betty Stanley Buskirk.

Mark loved Jesus, his church family, and attending at New Life Baptist of Washington, WV. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping and traveling with his family. Our family lost a very amazing, kind, and God loving man. He was the best husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor. He will be greatly missed.

His memory and example will be carried in the hearts of those who knew him, including his wife, Terry Buskirk; his children, Jason Buskirk (Carissa) and Jessica Burkey (Chris); grandchildren, Xzander Burkey and Markus Buskirk; brother, Gary Buskirk; and sister, Cathy Spiker.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The Buskirk family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, and one hour prior to service Saturday, at the funeral home.
