Mariette P. Fontaine

Mariette Pauline Fontaine, 83, of Davisville, W.Va. passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Willows, Parkersburg. Mrs. Fontaine was born November 10, 1930 in Liege, Belgium.She was a professional waitress having worked at the Holiday Inn in Warren, Pa. and the Parkersburg Truck Stop. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jean Pierre Fontaine; one son, Roger Fontaine (Debbie) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three granddaughters, Erin Minich (Victor) of Annapolis, Md., Jamie Fontaine-Gansell (Jamie Gansell) of Baltimore, Md.; and Michele Sanders (Brian Marsh) of Warren, Pa.; and one great-granddaughter, Ava Minich. She was preceded in death by one brother, Florent Schoonbrood. At Mrs. Fontaine's request there will be no visitation or ceremony, but a memorial service is being planned for a later date.The Vaughan Funeral Home & Crematory, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
