Margaret O. Stone, 83, of Vienna went home to be with the Lord in the presence of family on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Worthington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Parkersburg. She was born September 19, 1931 in Central, West Virginia a daughter of the late Robert R. and Allie B. Wine Riffle. Margaret worked in the ladies department of the former Arlan's Department Store. She was a member of Summit Valley United Methodist Church, a life member of Women’s Auxiliary VFW Post 1212 Parkersburg and VFW Children’s Home in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. She enjoyed bowling as a member of the Fiesta League on teams Fun & Fitness and Jolly Keglers. Margaret is survived by her husband, Paul Edward Stone, retired MSGT, USAF; one daughter, Lisa Giberson (Frank Jr.) of Parkersburg; one son, Mark A. Riffle (Denese) of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Delores Dolak (Raymond) of Canton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kayla Winters of Parkersburg, Nathan Riffle and Kyle Riffle of Jacksonville, Florida; and her caregiver, Stella Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. Funeral service will he 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Summit Valley United Methodist Church, 877 Williams Highway, Vienna, with Reverend Ed Sprout officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown, West Virginia. The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg and at the church one hour prior to service.
