Mabel Dixie Ruble Derenberger

Mabel Dixie Ruble Derenberger, 87, of Parkersburg passed away May 14, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born November 10, 1929 in Belleville, WV to the late David P. and Dixie R. Allen Boord.She was a member of Slate Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.She enjoyed bluegrass music, clogging, western movies and loved the Lord. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce (Rickey) Morris of Washington, WV, three sons, Terry (Cindy) Ruble of Mineral Wells, Richard (Michelle) Ruble of New Marshfield, Ohio, Ronald (Linda) Ruble of Parkersburg, two sisters, Donna (Dave) Clark of Walker, WV and Thelma Hewson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Ruble, her second husband, Walter Derenberger, two brothers, William Boord and Lawrence Boord, one sister, Rosa Gant, one daughter, Carolyn Rogers and a daughter in law Pam Ruble. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Lloyd Keith and Reverend Wayne Brown officiating.Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday.
