Lucille Anne Williams

Lucille “Lucy” Anne Williams, 85, of Vienna, WV passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at home.

She was born Sunday, August 21, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Amanda Roewer Miller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Nelson “Gene” Williams in 1998.

Lucy enjoyed playing cards, cooking, shopping at yard sales, and (years ago) loved riding horses. She attended Kanawha UMC, Vaught UMC, and Faith Baptist.

She leaves behind many dear friends including, Marjorie Jones and family, Clyde Dawkins, Liz Hamperian, Helen Theis and family, numerous friends at the Pleasantview Towers, Worthington Creek Apartments, and Vienna Senior Citizens Center and her beloved dog, Max.

Lucy had prearranged her final requests with Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home and, in keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated with a memorial service conducted at a later date.
