Luanne Lowers-Nay, 65, of Belpre, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, a daughter of Vernon Lowers (Joanna) and Charlotte Williams.
Luanne graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1977 and had worked for Hino Motors. She was a member of Fairview UMC and was an avid boater. She enjoyed her houseboat on the Ohio River and laughing with friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Vinetta Radcliff of Parkersburg and Christina D. Cham of Washington, West Virginia; two sons, Eddie Scott of Denver, Colorado and Matthew V. Scott (Morgan) of Marietta, Ohio; grandchildren, Kelcee Scott and Trinity Scott; two brothers, Christopher L. Lowers (Kathy) of Washington, West Virginia and Vincent E. Lowers of Belpre, Ohio; and a very special friend, Mechelle Wilson.
Luanne was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. “Captain Sam” Nay on February 25, 2021, and one grandson, Abraham Dampha.
In keeping with Luanne’s wishes, she will be cremated.
A Celebration of her Life is being planned and details will be announced.
